Refund policy
RETURNS, REFUNDS, EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Because our products are handmade and many are personal-care, bath, body, fragrance, candle, laundry, or hygiene-sensitive products, all sales are normally final. We do not accept routine returns or exchanges for preference, scent selection, ordering error, or change of mind.
Nothing in this policy limits a remedy required by applicable law or a protection provided by Etsy, Shopify, a payment provider, or another platform that cannot be waived.
EXCEPTIONS WE WILL REVIEW
Contact us if an order arrives damaged or leaking, contains an incorrect or missing item, has a verified defect, was materially misdescribed, or was affected by another seller error.
Depending on the circumstances, we may replace the affected item, issue a partial or full refund, or provide another appropriate remedy.
REPORTING DEADLINES AND EVIDENCE
Damage, leakage, breakage, melting, or material weather damage: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Incorrect or missing item: Notify us within 7 days of delivery.
Package marked delivered but not received: Complete the delivery checks described in our Shipping Policy and notify us within 7 days of the delivery scan.
Include your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs when applicable. For shipping damage, photograph the shipping box, shipping label, internal packaging, affected item, and all contents.
Retain the item and packaging while the claim is reviewed. These reporting periods help preserve evidence and do not eliminate legal rights that cannot be waived.
OPENED, USED, AND PERSONAL-CARE PRODUCTS
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, opened, used, tested, worn, washed, burned, melted, or otherwise altered personal-care, bath, body, fragrance, laundry, and candle products cannot be returned or exchanged.
An exception may be reviewed for a verified defect, damage, material misdescription, legal right, or seller error.
FRAGRANCE DISSATISFACTION
Fragrance perception is subjective and varies by person, environment, product format, and batch.
Disliking a scent, finding it stronger or lighter than expected, or experiencing a different fragrance impression is not by itself a defect and does not qualify for a return, exchange, or refund. Review descriptions carefully and consider sample sizes when offered.
ALLERGIES AND SENSITIVITIES
An allergy, sensitivity, or individual reaction does not necessarily indicate that a product is defective. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information and following product directions and warnings.
Contact us before purchasing if you need clarification. Stop use if irritation occurs and seek appropriate medical advice.
This section does not limit remedies for contamination, mislabeling, a verified defect, or another legal or seller responsibility.
CUSTOM AND PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
Custom, personalized, made-to-order, and specially configured products are final sale once work begins.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing names, spelling, colors, quantities, fragrances, and other submitted specifications. We will correct an error that we made, but we are not responsible for an error contained in customer-approved or customer-submitted information.
CANCELLATION REQUESTS
Request cancellation within 24 hours after placing the order. A request is not guaranteed if formulation, production, customization, packing, label purchasing, or shipment has begun.
After 24 hours, cancellations are normally unavailable. Shipped orders cannot be canceled.
For Etsy orders, send the request through Etsy Messages. For website orders, email casuallycreativecrafting@gmail.com.
UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Do not mail a product back without written authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused or disposed of when health or safety prevents resale.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are normally nonrefundable unless the refund results from our error, a covered defect, or applicable law or platform rules require otherwise.
